monday.com apps can be granted access to all workspaces or restricted to specific ones. If an app hasn't been given access to a workspace, automations and integrations in that workspace may appear to install correctly but will fail silently at runtime.
If a recipe uses a mirror column and the mirrored board lives in a workspace the app cannot access, the recipe will fail without a clear error message.
How to Update App Workspace Permissions
You must be an account admin to manage app permissions.
- Click your avatar (profile picture) in the top-right corner of monday.com and select Administration.
- In the left sidebar, navigate to Apps.
- Find the app you want to update in the installed apps list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the right side of the app row and select Permissions.

A permissions window will open. Under Workspace access, choose either:
- All workspaces — the app will have access to every workspace on your account.
- Specific workspaces — select individual workspaces from the list.

- Save your changes. No reinstallation is required — recipes in the newly added workspaces will begin functioning immediately.
Common Symptoms of Missing Workspace Access
- An automation or integration recipe appears installed but never triggers.
- Mirror column recipes fail or return blank values.
- Status change automations in a specific workspace don't fire while identical ones in another workspace work fine.
